I don’t know anyone that fishes inside. Now that I mention it, would that even be considered fishing? I don’t know about you, but I’d rather you catch me outside than in a pickle. Which is why I decided to create this funny Catch Me Outside funny fishing shirt. Everyone knows the popular meme, catch me outside and I thought I’d create this trendy fishing shirt as inspiration. Which is the first of my best fishing shirts collection!

Why the Catch Me Outside Fishing Shirt Stands Out

When I decided to get this shirt designed, I wanted the font to stick out to the point of you knowing exactly what the message is conveying. I told the artist to make sure the font is large and easily read on multiple colors. So, when people decide to request other colors, I will be ready to provide these new color options for our cool fish shirt.

Next the image, I wanted it to not be serious at all while the design was always flooding the shirt itself. Kind of like it was breaking the fourth wall. I thought that brought the shirt design together to deliver the funny fishing t-shirt design to whoever is reading it.

Design Points on the Catch me Outside Funny Fishing Shirt

Some other things I wanted this design to have outside of just the generic fishing shirt. And before I continue that point, I want to shoutout Cabellas, also known as Bass Pro Shop, because they have a wonderful collection of shirts. I just thought I could do it better.

The design needed to be funny. The goal was to have a shirt that was obvious enough that it was a fishing shirt, but that double-take once your brain put the pieces together you get a chuckle. With Bhad Bhabie making the, catch me outside, meme popular, I decided to do a double entendre on the meme and fishing. Which is how I got the term first. Once I got the idea down, I started coming up with a visual and explaining the pieces to the designer, they made magic, and you can see how wonderful the outcome has been.

Out of all the shirts, I get the funniest stares when I have this shirt on. With the sapphire blue and black color options, it sticks out enough to still be read, with the bold light white and blue color text to bring the whole design together.

Big guy drip’s goal with the shirts was to design the shirts with men in mind for our big and tall men, but also keep the shirt designs available for women as well. With our plus size graphic t shirts, we wanted to make sure we also keep our shirts available for smaller sizes when I ran into a new friend at a dispensary.

He liked the design so much, that he wanted to buy it for his daughter and that made me change the complete direction of Big Guy Drip. Big guy drip is a clothing apparel store with men's hoodies for big and tall, and plus sized men and women, and kids alike! Accessible sizes are the goal and we’re going to keep it that way.
