I LOVE the lou and I put that energy into all my shirts!
St. louis has been a home to me for 34 years. I’ve been living in the city at a younger age and lived all across North County in my teens and adult years. So being here now, in my early 30’s, I’m proud to be a St. Louisan amongst Tina Turner, Cedric the Entertainer, Smino, John Goodman and even Sexy Redd. So, it was only appropriate for me to drop a stl t shirt to show my pride in the city. Anybody can love the lou, but being from the city, it’s more than a shirt, it’s a way of life. The home of out-the-mud hustlers. We’ve produced entertainers, artists, athletes, and creators who had nothing but faith and the drive to keep going. The city is more than a St. Louis t-shirt, it’s a forward movement and I promise you I won’t stop there!
The Lou Shirt Design
The Lov the Lou t shirt design was outsourced by a designer I picked. When you think of St. Louis, if you aren’t thinking about our artists, then you’re thinking about The Arch. So, I already knew I wanted the text Lov Tha Lou that was very clear and emphasized on message you’re initially greeted with. Following that, when I think of the city I think of celebration and fireworks. Every year for the 4th of July, to celebrate Independence Day, St. Louis City throws a firework show at the Gateway Arch that lasts around 30 minutes.
To iron in the whole design, I wanted to give the backdrop of the city itself under the Arch and that set the design off to be the perfect celebration piece. The final product came out amazing and I couldn’t be happier. It’s one of the shirts I get the most attention from outside of the Viper Vision white and black graphic hoodie, one of the softest polyester hoodies I’ve worn so far, but Big Guy Drip can’t say that without being biased.

Our Lov the Lou Shirt runs true size (available in S to 5X) and is made from a soft cotton blend that keeps you comfortable in this humid weather we’re getting in the Midwest this spring. I love wearing these st louis tee shirts because the material isn’t thin—it’s a bit thicker than your average tee, but still breathable and not stiff. Making my undershirts fit perfectly under my shirt, while other brand shirts tend to have my undershirts revealed and that for me was problematic and something I wanted to definitely fix for myself and others.
What to wear with your St. Louis T-Shirt?
Personally, in this weather that fluctuates between 50 and 85 degrees, I would pair these t shirts with some joggers or light shorts. They’d work in any casual setting and pair with jeans if you’d rather rock jeans over something lighter. Keep it casual with some forces, adidas or anything you pair with drippy clothes.
