Squabble Up – Fight Club Shirt Highlight

Look ma’, only hands!

Our Squabble Up T-Shirt is the perfect representation of what’s lacking in today’s society. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do not condone violence, but if it comes down to an altercation, I’d rather it be hands than a gun. With the increased gun violence in the world, when simple differences could be solved with, as Cali calls it, a simple squabble.

Now I don’t want you going out there like Shawn Waynes in, “Don’t be a Menace”, and getting yourself into unnecessary altercations. So please don’t go starting trouble on behalf of Big Guy Drip.

What inspired us to create this Fight Club Shirt?

During the time in 2024 when the legendary rap beef between Drake and Kendrick started, Kendrick lamar dropped a song called Squabble Up which was a response to Drake. Also, around this time we had online influencer personalities like Aaron the Plumber who’s heavily been inspiring to bring back the fade because of all the gun violence in men-to-men disagreements, most of those situations ended over words said or a relationship which could have easily been avoided.

Unfortunately, we live in a time where our men in the world do not know how to take rejection, embarrassment or how to deal with their anger. So, the first thing they do is result in ending another person’s life which isn’t the solution. When in reality they just may have needed to get hit up the head a bit, but not eliminated completely. Just a continuous cycle of gun violence won’t solve our disagreements it’ll just enforce more gun violence.

Squabble Up Design Choices

The Squabble Up Fight Club Shirt was created in our second batch of shirts. The first batch of shirts was our launch collection which included our Trust the Process design direction. With our first batch of design’s, I didn’t want to create too many pictured designs right away and this was one of the few that landed in our text-based designs group.

I wanted the font to feel like a sports shirt, so the lettering needed to be clean and clear. But I allowed my designer to add the boxing gloves where they see fit. See when I work with designer’s I have one goal in mind and then I allow them to take my goal and work out some outlines if I don’t provide a sketch myself. The artist did a great job at bringing my concept and his style to the forefront and we came out with this design that people have been loving at MomoCon!

Squabble Up Shirt at MomoCon 2025

A few weeks ago, tag teamed up with a entertainer and content creator, RichsHQ, and we wanted to get real feedback on the design and if they could see themselves wearing our shirt design!

This video shows one of the people at MomoCon, Satio, expressing how they felt about our design and the general consensus so far is that they love the design. Most of the people at the event said they’d actually see themselves wearing the design or their partners which is amazing to me. I think one mistake I made at that event was not having shirts available to giveaway to the lucky interviewers. Luckily, we have the feedback and experience to try again and make our way back to another event and hopefully learn more again by attempting to fail quickly! Which is my approach at everything this year.
